Why did they choose 'Au Revoir Simone' as band name?

This has been answered too many times - it is almost in every biography and every second interview. It comes from a 1985 film Pee-wee's Big Adventure. See Gothamist interview or MTV's You Hear It First, where you can see the very scene that gave Au Revoir Simone its name.
