Interviews

As old as it may be, questions in Gothamist interview don't differ much from questions they're asked in every interview. (June 2005)

Are typical interviews not interesting enough? 'Sup Magazine guys probably thought it. So they did an interview with inkblots instead of questions. (December 2005)

Au Revoir Simone has made their appearance in public radio WNYC and you can hear the 60 minute podcast on WNYC website. Girls are talking about how they make music, mentioning their telepathic-like understanding and cooperation. Ads included. (March 2006)

From bedroom practice to huge TV? No problem for Au Revoir Simone as they have appeared on MTV's You hear it first together with their neighbor band Dirty On Purpose. (July 2006)

Not really an interview - in fact, a diary recording two weeks in Japan during December 2006.

ARS tasted the air up there in high society - together with David Lynch (who presented his new book) you can hear them play and talk in Barnes and Noble podcast. (January 11, 2007)

Quite nice interview on LunaPark6 was possibly the first to talk about the second album The Bird Of Music. (January 2007)

Need more eye contact then written word can provide? Then be sure to check out the video interview at Flasher. (Q1 2007)

Some people in Vice Magazine obviously care more about other things than music, but that doesn't stop them from talking about music (March 2007), keytars and pillow fights. It didn't take him long to reveal what was on his mind. :)

Do you like to have fun? Au Revoir Simone sure does. Chris Walker asks ARS about drinking, drinking some more and drinking too much. You can also find out what Au Revoir Simone would taste like if it was an alcoholic drink.

Very personal and entertaining interview appeared on the Brightest Young Things (April 2007).
